Stable News in your assistant
One morning edition a day, ranked by a published rule, in our own words, inside the assistant you already use. Public editions are free; anyone can sign in.
In Claude
- Open the button: Claude shows Stable News with its address filled in. Confirm.
- Choose Connect, sign in with Google, GitHub, email or your password, then Allow.
- Back in Claude, say “Stable News morning”.
By hand
In Claude: Settings, then Connectors, Add custom connector, and paste this address:
https://stablenews.ai/mcp/news
In ChatGPT: enable developer mode where available, open the connector settings, create a connection with this address, and complete sign-in.
In Codex or Claude Code
Add this URL as a remote HTTP MCP server in your client, then complete OAuth sign-in. If your client requires a bearer token, use your own Stable News API token from Mine. Keep it in your client’s secret settings, never in a prompt or a shared file.
In Mistral or Gemini
Mistral supports custom MCP connectors. Gemini access depends on its Connected Apps programme. These connections are awaiting our live acceptance checks; they are not yet advertised as ready.
Listen
Ask for your morning with audio, or open the edition on Stable News and press Listen. Your podcast feed is available on the site.
What to say
- “Stable News morning”
- “today's top ten, last 24 hours”
- “why is the first one first?”
- “anything on the Strait of Hormuz this week?”
To make it yours, say what you work on in one sentence, such as: “I work on energy policy; power grids and permits matter, less sport.” From the next morning your own edition is built around it.
What it costs
The morning, the lists and why a story stands where it does are free. A search of the last two weeks costs 1 credit; signing in gives credits to start.
